Shipping & other FAQs
SHIPPING
I now live in Tulum, Mexico, so for the moment I am only shipping to Canada, the U.S., Mexico. and U.K. Apologies for any inconvenience.
All items will be shipped from me to you from Tulum, Mexico via DHL or FedEx, with tracking, and will arrive within 3-7 days.
The cost of all shipping is $40.00 until further as DHL is the only way I can guarantee it's arrival.
You will be notified by email when your item has been shipped, and a tracking number will be sent to you at that time.
Please note that as a buyer, you will be responsible for any and all possible duties and customs charges that may be incurred according to the laws of your country.
PICK-UP FOR LOCALS ONLY
If you are local, and would like to pick up or have your item picked up from me in Tulum, or while I am in Toronto, you can avoid the shipping cost by entering the code iLOCAL, and then contact me to make arrangements.
PACKAGING
As iSOLA continues to transition, the branded packaging will not be present, so bare with me until I find more permenant replacements. I will be finding creative ways to package and send. You can however be guaranteed that what's inside the package has been made with the same love, care, quality, and mindfulness as always.
RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
I hope that when you receive your order, it is everything you hoped for and more, but if for any reason you decide it is not, email me within 3 days of receiving your order to let me know that you wish to return it, and arrange to ship within 7 days. The item must be unused and in it's original package. Once received, you will recieve a full refund. You will need to cover the cost of return postage.
Due to the energetic exchange that happens between an individual, or an environment and a crystal or stone, if iSOLA has not been notified within 3 days of receiving, or if your item has been worn, or in your posession for more than 7 days it will be considered used and is no longer eligible for refund but can be exchanged. After 14 days or more, it is no longer eligable for a refund or excange.
In the case of a lost package, you will receive a replacement.
CUSTOM ORDERS
I am not accepting custom orders at this time.
CARING FOR AND CLEANSING YOUR JEWELLERY:
Please remove before bathing, showering or swimming. It is not mandatory, but your item will last longer if you do.
It is recommended that you cleanse all crystals and stones on a regular basis by any of the following methods:
Sunlight: My favorite and simplest method is to place on a windowsill in direct sunlight about once a week if you wear every day, or whenever you feel necessary.
Sea Salt: Place item in a bowl of dry sea salt over night.
Quartz Crystals: Leaving on top of one of the following self cleaning crystals : amethyst, clear quartz and selenite, shungite.
Check online for other self cleaning crystals as you may already own one.
Be aware when wearing the long necklaces that have a crystal or Shungite at the end, that if you lean forward and it swings and hits a hard object like a fridge, bathtub or stove (based on personal experience) you’re crystal could chip or crack, so be aware. I have worn crystals for years whose tips have been rounded from repeated taps on furniture. The crystal is still wearable unless the impact leaves it sharp.
STORAGE: When not in use, store your crystal necklace preferably in the fabric pouch it came in to keep it from clashing into and rubbing onto other objects as well as remaining dust free. Alternatively it may be nice to hang it somewhere in your living or sacred space.
BROKEN MALA: It can sometimes be quite jarring when something like this breaks, especially if it is a part of your daily wear and use. Sometimes out of nowhere it seems to open up and you find a bead falling to the floor. Believe it or not, it is considered a positive thing when a Mala breaks. Below is a few statements about the message a broken Mala brings.
* When a mala breaks it can mean you have just cleared a karmic debt.
* A Mala breaking represents a breakthrough... the learning of an important lesson that you are ready to move forward.
* When a mala breaks, it means its medicine has done it's job.
* The history and tradition of mala beads believes that if your mala breaks, it represents karma breaking or a breakthrough. This is not a bad thing, but rather a positive sign of progression.
